Facebook chief  Mark Zuckerberg  on Thursday announced the parent company's name is being changed to " Meta " to represent a future beyond just its troubled social network.  The name change comes as the company battles criticisms from lawmakers and regulators over its market power, its algorithmic decisions and the policing of abuses on its platforms. CEO Mark Zuckerberg, speaking at the company's live-streamed virtual and augmented reality conference, said the new name reflected its focus on building the metaverse. "We've learned a lot from struggling with social issues and living under closed platforms, and now it is time to take everything that we've learned and help build the next chapter," Zuckerberg said. Xiaomi has launched Mi band 2 which is actually the predecessor of the first one
Xiaomi Mi band. It is placed at a price of INR 2000.Mi Band 2 has an oled display and touch button on the front. The pedometer has been fitted, packs the heart rate sensor at the back. The information display can also be customised, and the band do many things like you track steps, heart rate, sleep .  All these features can be  changed by downloading Mi Fit app. It is also customised to give alerts & notifications about calls and selected apps.
