Facebook chief  Mark Zuckerberg  on Thursday announced the parent company's name is being changed to " Meta " to represent a future beyond just its troubled social network.  The name change comes as the company battles criticisms from lawmakers and regulators over its market power, its algorithmic decisions and the policing of abuses on its platforms. CEO Mark Zuckerberg, speaking at the company's live-streamed virtual and augmented reality conference, said the new name reflected its focus on building the metaverse. "We've learned a lot from struggling with social issues and living under closed platforms, and now it is time to take everything that we've learned and help build the next chapter," Zuckerberg said. Google assistant now available for Apple lovers!

Google assistant will be enrolled on Apple Ios devices today and will be available on the app store to download, Google announced. 

 So people who want a change in their assistants can try it. Frankly speaking, users will face many problems with  this app due to the Api restrictions. Google assistant will not work as smoothly as it works on android devices and could only do basic stuff like playing songs etc. 

 Also apple does not allow the the home button administrator to be changed. So google assistant could not be accessed from home button. Siri will only command it.
