Facebook chief  Mark Zuckerberg  on Thursday announced the parent company's name is being changed to " Meta " to represent a future beyond just its troubled social network.  The name change comes as the company battles criticisms from lawmakers and regulators over its market power, its algorithmic decisions and the policing of abuses on its platforms. CEO Mark Zuckerberg, speaking at the company's live-streamed virtual and augmented reality conference, said the new name reflected its focus on building the metaverse. "We've learned a lot from struggling with social issues and living under closed platforms, and now it is time to take everything that we've learned and help build the next chapter," Zuckerberg said. LG announced X venture with quick button

LG has announced its new flagship the X venture which will go on sale in United States on May 26. It support IP68 water and dust protection and 14 MIL STD 810G certification for extreme temperatures, shock and water protection. 

 Key specs include 5.2 Inch FULL Hd display with 2GB ram and Snapdragon 435 chipset.
It has 32 GB internal expandable storage and 4100 which LG claims can last upto 24 hours. 
Also the phone can charge from 0% to 50% in 48 minutes. It has 16mp front shooter and 5mp front shooter. 

 Now talking about the side button which is called the quick button. On pressing it opens the new LG outdoor essential app. It has barometer, compass, flashlight calorie counter etc. 
The quick button is a multi purpose button. Short press will open essentials app, long press will prompt settings menu and double press will enable glove mode. 

 The device will be available at AT&T exclusive and you can also avail it on a special offer of paying $11/month  for 30 months which makes a total $330.
